    Rémi Capdessus, physicien théoricien spécialisé en physique des plasmas, nous fait voyager dans le monde des micro-particules composant la lumière et des réactions physiques ayant lieu à cette échelle : controllées, analysées, ces interactions de la matière conduisent souvent au développement de nouvelles technologies et de nouvelles approches, pour relever les grands défis de société. Ces le cas avec le développement des lasers de très haute puissance ces dernières années, qui permettent de reproduire en laboratoire des phénomènes astrophysiques extrêmes, et permettent d’envisager des applications variées, dans le domaine de la recherche théorique comme dans celui de l’innovation technologique.
