    Dr Vladislav Rjéoutski is a Research Fellow at the German Historical Institute in Moscow. He will present a book he co-wrote, The French Language in Russia, which recounts the adoption of the French language by the elites of imperial Russia during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
