  • Film and Performance: Edmond referring to Cyrano de Bergerac

    Stéphanie Goud from the exceptional Edinburgh Bookshop will be with us for a presentation of the film "Edmond" by Alexis Michalik referring to Cyrano de Bergerac with moments of the movie performed live by amateur comedians.


  • Talk: Vineet Lal on "Panthéra Tigris" by Sylvain Alzial

    An Eastern proverb asks whether the avid reader or the traveler knows more. Similarly, Sylvain Alzial in his "Panthéra Tigris" tells us the tale of one of the oldest confrontations, that of the theoretical and the practical knowledge. Vineet Lal will be giving the young audience a talk on his translation of this exceptional children’s book.


  • Comics: Benoît Peeters, The obscure cities "Between Utopia and Dystopia"

    Currently, Professor of Graphic Fiction and Comic Art at Lancaster University, novelist, graphic novelist, intellectual biographer, cultural historian and screen-writer Benoît Peeters will be giving a talk on his famous comics Les Cités Obscures at the Institut français d’Ecosse.
