The Alsace region is not only famous for its storks and sauerkraut, it also produces wines with fruity, mineral and floral flavours, like Rieslings and Gewurztraminers.
These names have built the reputation of the wine-growing region. We will talk about ‘en blanc’ wine making and about the importance of corks. We will also try to understand the Alsatian terroir by comparing its wines to other international Rieslings and Gewurztraminers.
