COVID-19 FRENCH COURSES & CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

From 17 March to 15 April

The health and safety of all of you, our staff, teachers, members, students and public is a priority and we hope that you are all safe and keeping well.

Due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the Institut français d’Ecosse has decided to close its doors to the public from Wednesday 18 March onwards until further notice but will remain active online to help you get through these exceptional times.

For all French citizens living in Scotland, we invite you to consult the website of the Consulat général de France à Edimbourg et Glasgow to stay informed of the latest updates.

LANGUAGE CENTRE
The language centre and all French classes will close on the evening of Tuesday 17 March 2020. There will be no classes from Wednesday 18 March onwards with everyone working on offering online alternatives available to you as of next week and for the coming session.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
The cultural activities at the Institute have either been cancelled or postponed – including our Harpsichord en fête festival – but we invite you to keep following our social media platforms as we will continue to promote French culture through these platforms by offering ideas of books to read, music to listen to, films to watch, recipes to try and more importantly by keeping you connected to the French community and culture.

LIBRARY
The library will be closed from Wednesday 18 March 2020 until further notice.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us by email at frenchclassesife gmail.com if you have any questions.
