‘The one who was wrong being right too early’

John Law was born in Edinburgh on 21 April 1671. He offers his services as ‘adventurer, banker, and Scottish economist’ to the regent Philippe d’Orléans, when the Kingdom of France is completely wasted, both economically and financially. Law will attempt to relieve the dramatic situation thanks to his innovative ‘system’.
