UNE HISTOIRE DU PARTI COMMUNISTE FRANCAIS.
The French communist party was founded in December 1920 by a split in the socialist French Section of the Workers’ International (SFIO). Its electoral support rapidly grew stronger and its popularity reached its peak with the end of World War II. At this stage, it had become the first largest party of France. This evening, Patrick Landri discusses the influence, real or assumed, of this party on French politics.
