The last Queen of France and Navarre (1755-1793) is a celebrity and one of the most controversial figures in the History of France. She was given a few nicknames during her time at the royal court: « l’Autrichienne », « Madame Déficit » and finally « Madame Veto ». However mean these nicknames are, do they say much about her role or her political influence on the King Louis XVI and the destiny of the French monarchy?
