Cinéma : Pieds nus dans l’Aube (Semaine de la francophonie)

Thursday 14 March 18:45-20:45

The Institut français d’Ecosse is proud to collaborate with the Délégation générale du Québec and the Canadian High Commission in London to invite you to a screening of the film Pieds nus dans l’Aube by Francis Leclerc (Québec).

As part of the Semaine de la Francophonie, the screening of this movie is open to all, no Institute membership required.

Synopsis:
Faithful to the eponymous novel, the film recounts the events of the summer of 1927, the last one that the young Félix Leclerc will spend in the family home of La Tuque, Québec, just before he leaves in the autumn to study at a private college in Ottawa. This coming of age story sees 12-year-old Félix embark on a series of dramatic, epic, and even some light-hearted adventures. Accompanied by his faithful friend Fidor, he will face adversity, love, and death, those essential lessons that will give Félix the opportunity to gradually emerge from his childhood as a young adult.

Starring Shauna Bonaduce, Roy Dupuis, Marianne Fortier
