Cross-Channel Theatre

Monday 22 August 2016 14:30-22:00

Led by the Institut Français du Royaume-Uni, supported by the SACD, and in collaboration with IPR ltd, Cross-Channel Theatre is an initiative aiming at promoting new French writing in the UK. Working with British practitioners, Cross-Channel Theatre selects new plays in French and translates them into English. They present three rehearsed readings of fresh new work by French writers:

- 14:35 (60’) Going Through, by Estelle Savasta.
Translated by Kirsten Hazel Smith, directed by Omar Elerian.

- 16:15 (60’) It’s Christmas so deal with it, by Pierre Notte.
Translated by Simon Scardifield, directed by Omar Elerian.

- 20:45 (60’) Country, by Pedro Kadivar.
Translated by Simon Scardifield, directed by Mark Maughan.
