It helps to further bilateral exchanges by collaborating in the projects either directly with the bodies concerned or in cooperation with local institutions such as the Scottish Executive (SEED), British Council Scotland, the Scottish Association for Language Teaching (SALT) and the Cultural Organisation and Local Authorities Association (COALA). It also promotes the French language for the general public and organises educational events.
