Délégation Générale à la langue Française et aux Langues de France
Under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, the DGLFLF’s brief is to ensure the primacy of the French language on the national territory and to contribute to the promotion of cultural diversity and to the diffusion of the French language in Europe and the rest of the world. The DGLFLF makes available to the public a range of resources such as the new terms published in the Journal Officiel and documentation relating to the French language, the French-speaking communities and the languages of France.

AEFE: Agency for teaching French abroad
The AEFE, which comes under the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ensures the coordination and efficient functioning of the French school network abroad. The website contains practical information such as the procedure for enrolling a child in a French educational establishment overseas or even a guide to such establishments.

CIEP : International Centre of Educational studies
The CIEP ensures the development of international cooperation in education. The establishment is recognised in France and abroad with regard to its competence regarding training, evaluation and assessment.The site provides information on the various French diplomas (DELF, DALF, TCF) and on the necessary procedures to become a French language assistant abroad or foreign assistant in France.

Edufrance
The aim of Edufrance, which comes under the aegis of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is to promote and facilitate the arrival and stay of international students in France. Edufrance issues information on training in French and English available in France. It also gives advice on accommodation and also on the possibility of working in France during or after one’s studies.

CNED: the National Centre for Distance Learning
Part of the French Ministry of Youth Affairs, Education and Research, the CNED conducts distance learning projects for individuals, businesses, teaching establishments, students, etc. French children living abroad can follow a normal schooling in French with the CNED which is fully recognised by the French Ministry of Education on their return to France.

International Organisation of the French-speaking communities
With 53 member countries, the organisation promotes cultural diversity of French-speaking countries and the use of French. Apart from the linguistic aspect, the organisation strives to promote, directly or with its operators, multilateral cooperation and also mutual aid with the various members of the “French-speaking family”.
