French Book Day

Saturday 28 November 2015 10:00-16:00

Join us for this special day of activities around the very best of children literature in French.

We are delighted to announce a great literary programme for everyone: parents, children and school teachers of French.

Throughout the day, the kids will enjoy storytelling sessions with Catherine and meet Italian author Sara Trofa, who will present her new, beautifully illustrated children book: "Qu’est-ce qu’il y a dans ton ventre ?".

And while the kids are transported to new and far, far away imaginary worlds, parents could browse the booksellers’ stalls for more children books to bring back home. Or have a coffee and a French snack provided by Patisserie Maxime, relocating at the Institut for the day.

For the teachers, the Institut’s team will be presenting books that can be used in class with the pupils. A selection of them will also be available to buy from the booksellers.
