Claire Simon’s blend of documentary and fiction follows the every day life of dozens of passer-byes in one of the largest train stations in Europe.

The station is a world apart, frequented by everyone: the French, immigrants, emigrants, travelers.... It’s an intersection where each life passes quickly and vanishes. A focused and serious sociology student, Ismaël, leads a study in this urban, fast paced environment when he meets the elegant, fifty-something Mathilde. And this unlikely love story seems to disturb our main characters.

The charming Reda Kateb (’Spiral’, ’Un Prophète’, ’Zero Dark Thirty’) and the elegant director and actor Nicole Garcia star in this calm but powerful film where motion and emotion are the cornerstone.
