Join Patrick Landri for a talk on the battle of Verdun, sadly known for being the First World War’s deadliest battle. For more than ten months, 70 French army divisions fought in Verdun. This year marks the centennial anniversary of this tragic battle.

The wonderful World of Lapin

6 & 7 April

Tania and her animal friends are the stars of this bilingual puppet show, where everyone wants to eat the world’s tastiest carrot! A children show by Le Petit Monde presented as part of Puppet Animation Festival 2016, with the support of Creative Scotland and the Institut français d’Ecosse. Also in the Borders on 9 April and in Aberdeen on the 14th.

Raoul Reynolds – A retrospective

8 - 25 April
Scotland Street School Museum, Glasgow

On the occasion of the 10th twinning anniversary between Glasgow and Marseille, the two cities pay tribute to this great Franco-Scottish artist with a retrospective dedicated to his work. This exhibition is programmed as part of Glasgow International from 8 April, and from 26 August in Marseille.

Denève returns: the auld alliance
