New competition for schools

Until 15 February
Across Scotland

We have launched a new national competition in partnership with SCILT, to encourage all young French learners and their teachers around Scotland. All you need to do is create and film with your class a piece of work in French and send the video to your Local Authority Modern Languages Development Officer for the semi-finals. You have until mid-February so… Tous à vos caméras!

Discovering Duvivier at GFF

Glasgow Film Festival

The Glasgow Film Festival 2016 presents a handful of great new French films. But as a great coincidence, the programme also features three of Julien Duvivier’s most enduring films La fin du jour, Panique, and La Belle Equipe, nicely complementing our own screening of Poil de Carotte. If that’s not great minds thinking alike…we don’t know what is!

La Nuit des Idées

On 27th January, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs opened the doors of the Quai d’Orsay for a Night of Ideas with great French and foreign actors of contemporary thought. All night long, intellectuals, researchers, artists, international leaders alike questioned how today’s world will enter the world of tomorrow. The debates are now available to watch whenever you want!
