International Women’s Day: a statue for Dr Elsie Inglis

Celebrate International Women’s Day at the French Institute on Tuesday 8th March from 7:30 – 9:30pm, join Mme. Laurence Païs, Consul General who will be hosting and chairing Jenni Minto, MSP for Argyll and Bute and Ros Taylor, chartered clinical psychologist, executive coach, author and broadcaster.

Jenni Minto has recently secured the debate ‘Recognition of Dr Elsie Inglis by commemorating her with a statue’ in Scottish Parliament, this will be taking place in early March. Ros Taylor writes, "As a psychologist working internationally with senior women, I particularly love the Elsie mission because Elsie Inglis embodies the leadership qualities of pioneering spirit and perseverance, both delivered with a calm determination. I want her statue to represent all that’s wonderful about women leading from the front."
