Jacques Brel’s songs have survived the test of time and have created a cult following surrounding his life and work. From Jarvis Cocker to David Bowie via Leonard Cohen, numerous artists have endeavoured to keep his creative spirit alive. Christine Bovill and Agathe Girard (HHDT) bring a fresh, modern, exciting and unique interpretation of Brel’s work through multimedia, music and dance.
Raw and intense, poetic and captivating. Mostly playful, like his songs. Let yourself be transported into the Belgian chansonnier’s world and experience for yourself why he has remained such a vibrant musical icon.
