"It’s all very Gallic with pastries and coffee, Breton beers, fromage platters and a lovely outside terrace that’s flooded with evening sun and perfect for a glass or two of vin rouge".
THE LIST - 11 Aug 2011

On the occasion of the ’Two Johnnies live upstairs’ show running during the Fringe, the Institute reopens ‘Le Bistrot’, a licensed café-bar.

Open all day until late, ‘Le Bistrot’ and its garden offer a cosy atmosphere to enjoy a drink and typical French snacks, wait for the guide, and maybe catch a glimpse of a ghost or two...

’Le Bistrot’ will be operated by the Edinburgh-based ’chef patron’ Frédéric Berkmiller owner of the restaurants L’Escargot blanc & L’Escargot bleu.
