A show by Collectif Aïe Aïe Aïe (France)
After playing with fluffy bunnies in Two Johnnies Live Upstairs in 2011 (**** Scotsman), the French puppeteers from the Rennes-based collective Aïe Aïe Aïe bring back their nuttiness to the Fringe with a new show starring a ‘biche’ (hind) and a ‘lapin’ (rabbit, again).
In this silent vaudeville set on a table, couples get together and couples break up in a dance of manipulated objects. In tune with the music the mixed duet knit with four hands short love stories, sometimes bucolic, sometimes playful and sometimes tragic, but always bursting with creativity and ingenuity!
