ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Cyrille Lerouge, Counter tenor
Cyrille Lerouge started singing at 7 in his hometown’s Boys Choir, and then studied Voice and Early music in the Conservatoire de Paris. As a performer, he tries to keep his activities quite varied : singing contemporary music with a large ensemble with Léo Warynski’s Métaboles, singing Renaissance music with french groups Cosmos or les Voix Animées, working as a soloist in baroque répertoire with conductors such as Jean Tubery or Vincent Dumestre… He is also been a self-taught guitarist for almost 15 years and plays in French rock band Cabale, recently signed to Virgin Records France, with a first EP due in October 2022.
Marco Van Baaren,, Tenor
Marco Van Baaren started learning the piano at a very young age in his native Ardèche. In 2014, he joined the Département Supérieur pour Jeunes Chanteurs, at the Regional Conservatorium in Paris. He then joined the baroque opera class of the Conservatorium of Paris under the direction of Stéphane Fuget. Marco studied lyrical singing with Florence Guignolet and Jean Pierre Furlant. He graduated in 2019 and has been singing since then as a soloist and choir singer in France.
