Concours de la francophonie


The Institut français d’Ecosse launched in 2016 le concours de la francophonie, a new national competition to encourage all young French learners and their teachers around Scotland and to celebrate the international day of la francophonie.

The winners for the 2017 edition are:

  • P1/P4

1er prix : Glasgow City Council – Holy Cross PS – P4
2ème prix ex aequo : Glasgow City Council – Quarry Brae PS – P3
2ème prix ex aequo : International School of Aberdeen – P1

  • P5/P7

1er prix ex aequo : Argyll and Bute Council – Dunoon Primary School – P5
1er prix ex aequo : Falkirk Council – Antonine Primary School – P5
2ème prix : Glasgow City Council – Glendale Primary School - P5

  • S1/S3

1er prix : Shetland Islands Council – Mid Yell Junior School – S3

  • Le jury a également décerné un prix spécial pour la créativité à : North Ayrshire Council – Elderbank Primary P3 & P6

This school competition is sponsored by TOTAL E&P, the Franco Scottish Society and Christian Albuisson and is organised in partnership with the Alliance française de Glasgow, SALT, SCILT, the University of Edinburgh and TV5 Monde.
