Once Upon: Folk and Fairy Tales of Brittany

The Scottish International Storytelling Festival 2012 takes place from 19 to 29 October 2012 and celebrates the art and humanity of folktales across Europe.

Folktales interweave with harp and song in an evocation of Brittany’s distinctive world of poetry, mystery and humour. Breton storyteller Fiona MacLeod, Breton singer Brigitte Kloareg and Breton harpist Cécile Corbel are hosted and welcomed by Scotland’s Heather Yule.
