About Franck Magloire
Born in 1970 in Normandy, Franck Magloire was a consultant before becoming a school teacher. His style is meticulous both in substance and form. His way of addressing social issues makes him a unique voice in French contemporary literature. He was awarded the Prix littéraire de la ville de Caen in 2003 for Ouvrière (Éditions de l’Aube, 2002, points Seuil 2012) and wrote Sans Visages (Bayard, 2004), En contrebas (Éditions de l’Aube, 2007) and Présents (Seuil, 2012). His last book, Destination (Editions le Soupirail, 2017), traces the lives of the generation born in the 1970’s.
