Vineet Lal will be giving us a talk about his translation of the children’s book "Panthéra Tigris" by Sylvain Alzial. During his talk, Vineet will be sharing with a young audience anecdotes from his translation journey.

About the book:
Illustrated by Hélène Rajcak, Panthera Tigris is, in fact, the story of different types of knowledge. A specialist on an expedition to deepen his knowledge on tigers crosses the jungle with a local guide. When their journey turns up unexpectedly, our protagonist will have to evaluate the usefulness of theoretical vs. practical knowledge.
