Following the recent announcement, the French Institute in Scotland, its library and cinema will remain close to the public until further notice . All the team of the Institute wish you a happy festive period and look forward to seeing you in 2021!
As the health and safety of all of you, our staff, teachers, members, students and public remains a priority, hand sanitizers are available throughout the building. A one-way system is also in place with an entrance via George IV Bridge only and an exit via West Parliament Square. Please follow the signs inside the building to make your way to the different spaces. Face coverings are compulsory inside the building and cinema.
Please find all the safety measures in place at the Institute to keep you safe:

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
At the moment, all cultural activities at the Institute remain on pause, but we are working on welcoming you back as soon as possible by making sure our events follow the social distancing and sanitary measures in place.
We invite you to keep following our social media platforms as we continue to promote French culture through our cultural blog: offering ideas of books to read, music to listen to, films to watch, recipes to try and more importantly by keeping you connected to the French community and culture.
