Meet the author Michaël Ferrier
Thu 26 March at 4pmFrench-Mauritian writer Michaël Ferrier will talk about his work as a novelist and mostly about “Mémoires d’outre-mer”, 2015 (Over Seas of Memory: A Novel). Based loosely on the author’s life, this novel recounts the narrator’s journey following the footsteps of his Mauritius-born grandfather, Maxime, who abruptly boarded a boat bound for Madagascar in 1922 and never returned.
