In 1937, Karmele and her family take refuge in France after being forced from their home by the war. There she is contacted by the Basque cultural embassy in exile, which fights the war through music and dance, and she meets Txomin, a trumpet player with whom she falls in love. After spending some time in Venezuela, the couple returns home to fight the dictatorship, hoping to regain everything that was taken from them.
The 6PM screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director, Asier Altuna.
