To celebrate the Institut français d’Écosse’s 80th anniversary, author Odile Hughson invites you to discover the National Museum of Scotland through a French lens with a special guided tour entitled French Connections.
Explore the museum’s collections through objects originating from France or connected to French history and culture, from the Roman period to the 20th century. Discover fascinating stories and remarkable artefacts, including personal belongings of Napoleon and his family, while uncovering the historical and cultural links between France and Scotland.
The same tour will be conducted in English on two dates: 5 and 13 November.
Meeting point: at the round tower of the Museum of Scotland, at the corner of George IV Bridge and Chambers Street
