The French Film Festival UK and Institut français d’Ecosse invite you to celebrate the 2026 Festival de Cannes (12–23 May 2026) with a special screening of 2025 winner of the Palme d’Or : It was just an accident by Jafar Panahi. A co-production between Iran, France and Luxembourg, the film follows a group of former Iranian political prisoners who face the question of whether to exact revenge on a man they believe may be their tormentor.
