Couette-Couette, a show for kids from 2 years old
Sat 17 Oct at 11.00Couette-couette (Duvet-Duvet) is a playful dance performance for children aged 2+ and their families. Through movement, imagination, and gentle humour, it explores fear, friendship, and the courage to try something new.
One character is happily tucked beneath her duvet, reluctant to come out and play. The other arrives with her cuddly toy, Le Loup (a well-known character in children’s French literature), inviting her into a world of adventure. As the duvets transform into a play area, a den, clouds, monsters, and magical landscapes, the two friends learn how to live together and face the outside world.
La compagnie Les Dés rangés is a professional contemporary dance company firmly rooted in the Monségur area in the South West of France. It is conceived as a laboratory for developing a vision of contemporary dance through creating works which mix the arts (dance, theatre and music), education programs and cultural experiences at grass roots level.
