Every September the Doors Open Days are the occasion to explore hundreds of fascinating buildings across Scotland for free. 
 
The Institut Français d’Écosse will open its doors on Saturday 23 September from 10am to 4pm with many – free – family-friendly activities !
 

Programme :

  • Self-guided tour with exhibitions and videos all around the building 
  • Bilingual reading with our librarian Catherine Guiat
  • There will also be a raffle going on !

Self Guided Tour

This year’s self guided tour will take you around our gorgeous location on the Royal Mile, allowing visitors to explore all of our wonderful rooms and fascinating artefacts. Our information points are scanable by your phone, but if you’re unable to make it to us, you can also find all the information available here!
