Meet children’s book illustrator Kasia Matyjaszek

Join award-winning children’s book illustrator Kasia Matyjaszek for a special multilingual session celebrating the imagination, creativity and visual storytelling at the heart of picture books. Taking place in English, Polish and French, this free event offers children and families the chance to meet an illustrator and discover how stories are transformed into colourful and engaging images.

Kasia will share her experience as an illustrator and introduce audiences to the creative process behind children’s books. From the first ideas and sketches to the development of characters, settings and finished illustrations, participants will discover how pictures can tell stories alongside words, and sometimes even tell stories of their own.
