Jean-Baptiste Andrea is a novelist, film director and screenwriter. His debut novel, Ma Reine, won twelve literary prizes in France, including the Prix du Premier Roman and the Prix Femina des Lycéens. His most recently translated novel, Devils and Saints, won the Grand Prix RTL-Lire in 2021. He has been awarded with the most prestigious French literary prize, the Prix Goncourt, for his historical novel Veiller sur elle, set in 20th century Italy.
