One of the leading voices in contemporary poetry, the Franco-Greek poet Anna Ayanoglou will come to the Institut Français d’Écosse for a Reading around her poetry works and a Caviardage workshop!

4pm-5.30pm: Caviardage workshop

Discover a technique that combines writing and artistic expression! The caviardage consists of removing words from a text until a single message is visible. In some way, it can be compared to a creative and artistic censorship! 14 persons maximum, booking in advance is advised.

6.30pm-8pm: Reading and Q&A

Let yourself be enchanted by the magic of words as our artist reads her poems in French, accompanied by a reading in English for total immersion in her artistic world: Appartenir (2024, Editions Le Castor Astral), Sensations du combat (2022, Éditions Gallimard), et Le fil des traversées (2019, Éditions Gallimard).
