Step into the heart of France without leaving Edinburgh! Vive le Fringe! will come back from 7 to 29 of August 2026 at the Institut français d’Écosse with an electrifying lineup of artists and companies from France, bringing fresh perspectives, captivating performances, and a whole lot of joie de vivre.

Don’t miss the sensible and unconventional dance show by choreographer and dancer Sofiane Chalal, a joyful fusion of freestyle football and live music by Fouad Boussouf, and a delicate children show blending glove puppetry and softly animated images by the Cie La Neige sur les Cils.

Whether you’re a francophile, a theatre lover, or simply curious, this festival within the Edinburgh Festival Fringe invites you to think, laugh, and be swept away by the passion and creativity of contemporary French culture. All the shows are accessible to an English speaking audience (either in English or non verbal).

Prepare for this summer and book your tickets now!
